Do you love soaking up the sun on the beach, sipping a delicious cocktail at a cozy beach bar, or simply enjoying a refreshing breeze? There are several beaches in the area surrounding our B&B where you can do just that.
Rockanje
(🚘: 35 minutes)
Rockanje Beach has so much to offer. It’s set in a beautiful nature reserve, surrounded by forests, dunes, and polders. Along the beach, you’ll find five beach bars where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a tasty bite.
Hoek van Holland
(🚘: 35 minutes 🚇: 60 minutes)
Hoek van Holland has had a metro connection for a few years now, making it incredibly easy to reach by public transport. In addition to its wide sandy beach—perfect for relaxing—there are also plenty of sights to explore, such as the Atlantikwall Museum. Or dive into the fascinating world of Dutch water engineering at the Maeslantkering, part of the Delta Works that protect the Netherlands from the sea.
Maasvlakte

Maasvlakte Beach is a unique destination, especially ideal for catching a fresh breeze and clearing your mind. It’s located in the Port of Rotterdam—one of the largest harbors in Europe. Combine your beach visit with a stop at Portlantis, where you can learn all about the port and its impressive operations. You’ll also find a popular kite surfing beach here, perfect for thrill-seekers.
Ouddorp
(🚘: 40 minutes)
Ouddorp Beach stretches an impressive 17 kilometers and, in some areas, is several hundred meters wide. You’ll find beautiful dunes perfect for long, scenic walks. There’s also a World War II bunker complex you can explore on foot, adding a touch of history to your beach day.
