Do you love nature? Then our B&B is the perfect starting point. You can enjoy beautiful walks and bike rides through the various nature reserves in the area.

The B&B is located along a walking trail that passes through two remarkable nature reserves in Albrandswaard. These grienden are freshwater tidal areas, meaning the channels within them fill and empty in rhythm with the ebb and flow of the tide. This rare phenomenon allows unique plant species to thrive in the area.

The Kralingse Bos is an urban forest in Rotterdam, surrounding the Kralingse Plas. It’s a lovely place to go for a walk and watch the locals enjoying their free time. The forest also features several cafés and restaurants, as well as a small beach.

Voornes Dune is a remarkable nature reserve. It features a variety of landscapes, making it a wonderful place for walking or cycling. You can enjoy the rich diversity of birds and plants—and of course, the beach and the sea.

Within 35 minutes, you can drive from the B&B to the ferry port for the island of Tiengemeten. From there, you board the ferry that takes you to the island. Tiengemeten is a stunning island teeming with remarkable wildlife. Beavers, Highland cattle, and even white-tailed eagles live side by side here.
The island is also home to the Rien Poortvliet Museum and the Agricultural Museum—both well worth a visit.

The Biesbosch is a national park in the Netherlands. It’s a unique river delta and the largest freshwater tidal area in Europe. You’ll find wetlands, willow forests, islands, and creeks—and of course, a wide variety of wildlife, including beavers and the osprey. You can explore the Biesbosch on foot, by bike, or—perhaps even more fun—by boat!
