For active guests, there's plenty to enjoy around the B&B. The area offers many scenic walking and cycling routes, and there are several golf courses nearby as well.
Cycling
The B&B is nestled among lush green polders and situated along a major river. Numerous scenic cycling routes pass right by the B&B—such as the ‘Green Southern Edge of Rotterdam’ route.
You can also enjoy beautiful bike rides on the island of Voorne-Putten, or head toward the Biesbosch and Kinderdijk for even more stunning landscapes.
Hiking
Walkers will also find plenty to enjoy at our B&B. It’s located at the starting point of the scenic trail "Green Ribbon along the Oude Maas".
Near the Castle of Rhoon, you’ll find the charming short walk called the "Kingfisher Route".
Our B&B also marks the endpoint of stage 3 of the long-distance hiking trail "Great Rivers Path".
And in the surrounding area, there are many more beautiful walking routes to discover.

There are several golf courses located near the B&B, including:

You can also book a Pitch & Putt clinic with us. You'll learn the basics of golf and then head out onto the course to put your new skills into practice.
Just a short walk from the B&B, you'll find a newly renovated climbing forest. With updated routes and ziplines, it offers an exciting mix of adventure and challenge for all ages. There are no fewer than four courses, featuring ziplines up to 50 meters long.
Swimming
There’s also a swimming pool within walking distance of the B&B, where you can enjoy open swim sessions on select days. Within a 15-minute drive, you’ll find three more pools—so there’s always a place to swim during your stay at our B&B.
Between Barendrecht and Rotterdam South, running through Rhoon, lies the Blauwe Verbinding (Blue Connection). This is a recreational waterway that also helps maintain clean water in the area. In addition, it serves as a water storage system and creates ecological links between various green spaces.
